I want to understand how the world works, and use that understanding to create change.
I studied physics at Peking University (class of 2025) and build products with AI, most recently as co-founder and CTO of Posting Machine. I cold-emailed my way into a software engineering internship at Heptabase (YC W22), and sent 10,000 emails to find users for Paper Visualizer.
Before tech, I explored math, psychology, brain–machine interfaces, and 3D animation. A few moments along the way are in Glimpse.
Some stuff I did before
- Co-founded Posting Machine, an AI-native service company, as CTO: bootstrapped to $3k MRR in 3 months with 14 paying customers, and delivered 1M+ LinkedIn impressions for them.
- Recent ideas: Optional Computer, Afterword, Rippling Computer, Resume MCP, San Francisco Trip Planner, Nag Alarm AI, Clarity, and Draw to Create AI.
- Built tools for learning better and deeper: Insight Generator, Paper Visualizer, Clarity Reads, Daily ArXiv, Select to Explain, and Inline Annotation.
- Emailed 10,000 schoolmates to launch Paper Visualizer in college: 1.4k users and 100+ daily actives.
- Emailed 78 NVIDIA GTC speakers and got a $2,500 ticket, free, from Mira Murati.
- Interned remotely at Heptabase (YC W22), where I learned startup focus and how to talk to users.
- Agentic coding almost daily for the past year, across every major coding harness.
